Resumen

Currently, the most frequent complication of the transphenoidal approach is CSF leak. Many solutions have been proposed in past decades; however, none of them has been fully satisfactory. The authors present a technical note reflecting their method of surgical management to avoid post operative CSF leak, based on the experience of the senior author in nearly 5000 transsphenoidal approaches.
